Shul Duty

E-mail Print
Each week there are three people on the Shul Duty rota. Shul Duty is a simple and easy way to be involved in the Kehilla on a Shabbat. You will probably be on the rota for Shul Duty twice or three times a year which is not a lot. And if you can co-opt your friends and family to help, it takes no time at all!

There is a member of the Committee in charge of Shul Duty each week. In addition to the Committee member, there are also two other members on the rota. The Committee member will coordinate what you have to do so don't be nervous if you are not sure. If you are on Shul Duty, you will be notified by the Shul office at least one week in advance. If you cannot do Shul Duty that particular week, we ask that you find a replacement as it is not fair to the remaining two people that they should do it on their own.

Please meet the Committee member on duty after tefilla on Friday evening or erev Chag. If you are not sure who the Committee member is, please ask someone at shul.
